Job description

Invisory is looking for an experienced and strategic sales senior account executive to join our fully remote team in the US. With healthy support from partner and inbound leads, this role will focus on outbound sales to ISVs in the Google Cloud Marketplace, Azure Marketplace and AWS Marketplace ecosystems.

A successful candidate in this role is well versed in cloud marketplace ecosystems (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Marketplace, Salesforce) and the advantages of selling and buying through this dynamic channel. Experience in the GCM and AWS ecosystems is preferred.

Who You Are

You are passionate about the modern motion of selling through cloud marketplaces and are a proven and motivated seller with exposure to selling with partner teams. Invisory is looking to hire the next generation of sellers to help build and scale our sales organization as a whole. This individual should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, be a sales “hunter” and thrive in a startup culture with the ability to build and coach reps around them.  

This is a remote role with some (< 25%) required travel.

What you’ll do

  • Act as the tone-setter for our sales team with the experience to develop and execute a comprehensive cloud marketplace sales strategy that aligns with overall company goals and bring the rest of the sales team (current and future) along on that journey.
  • Identify and qualify high-potential leads within the target market segments.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts and partners.
  • Craft compelling sales presentations and proposals that showcase the value proposition for cloud-based solutions.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, exceeding assigned quotas and maximizing profitability.
  • Foster and manage a portfolio of existing customers within assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction and driving upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Stay at the forefront of cloud marketplace trends, identifying new market opportunities and competitive dynamics.
  • Mentor and coach junior AEs, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the sales team.
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure a seamless customer journey.

Skills & Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a sales rep or sales manager with a SaaS company
  • 4+ years of direct experience participating in Hyperscaler organizations like AWS, Microsoft, or Google Cloud Marketplace 
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a competitive and high-growth environment with the ability to develop and execute winning sales plans.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics including partner programs, co-selling, transactability and commits. 
  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of not only the technology but the GTM motions that create successful ISVs. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand product and user problems, define the scope and requirements for a solution, and create best-in-class, experiences that push the Invisory standard
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently engage with C-level executives and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to mentor, coach, and motivate others. With a desire to help build and scale a sales team. 
  • Bonus points if you have a well-established network within the hyperscaler cloud ecosystems.
