Capture More Azure Benefits with New FY25 ISV Partner Program Incentives
Every year in July, the beginning of Microsoft’s fiscal year, the tech giant announces updates to the Microsoft Cloud Partner and ISV Programs. The good news for ISVs in FY25 is that Azure has now made it easier for companies to reap the benefits of co-selling with Microsoft.
The Microsoft Cloud Partner program has largely remained the same in many ways. You will still need to have a listing on the Azure Marketplace and start transacting to participate. However, Azure is making it easier for customers with multiple listings to reach more incentives and earn money back.
Azure FY25 ISV Partner Program Changes
Marketplace Transact and Grow Campaign
The most important change for ISVs is updates to Azure’s “Marketplace Transact and Grow Campaign.”
In FY24, ISVs would need to reach the $100,000 revenue threshold on a single listing in order to qualify for Azure incentives and benefits. Starting July 1, 2024, Azure will monitor your revenue by your Microsoft Publisher ID number, not by the individual listing. Big news for ISVs with multiple listings.
For ISVs with multiple listings, this means that if Listing A generates $40,000 and Listing B generates $60,000 in eligible ACR, you would reach $100,000 in eligible ACR and qualify for Microsoft incentives. By reaching the $100k threshold in the fiscal year, ISVs receive a $20,000 rebate from Microsoft. If your total listings reach $4 million in eligible ACR, then you’ll receive an additional $50,000.

ISV ACR Growth Campaign
Partners in Azure’s ACR Growth Campaign program with at least $200 in Azure consumption in the previous fiscal year can now earn up to $500,000 in incentives, up from $350,000.

Participating ISVs now have expanded eligibility in Microsoft Certified Software Designations. As a bonus, Azure Innovate is also offering more T-shirt size options (including Large) to ISV POCs .
